I realize that because use of Facebook is free, that they have to make money somehow to support themselves, but one would hope that they would take a more active stance on things rather than just turning some of these idiots loose and allow them to run a muck with all that crap-ads that are being displayed.
If I had a quarter for every time I’ve seen the BS ad about “See who has googled for you” I’d have enough money to purchase a new server for all my web stuff. Yeah, I know you can click the little ‘x’ and then choose a reason or enter something for other but it doesn’t mean you’re never going to see them again. What’s worse is that most of the time the ads are specifically designed to lead you down the primrose to hell! (Metaphorically speaking of course)
Plain and simple 99% of the ads displayed on Facebook are deliberately misleading.
