Angry People

  I don’t know about anyone else, but it would appear that we’ve got an over-abundance of angry people these days. Has anyone else noticed this trend? Because I have, and I can’t for the life of me understand why so many folks put so much energy into being so damned angry. Block That Number: another reason to like my iPhone

Sorry… you can’t get me I’ve recently found another reason to like my iPhone and not feel bad about moving from the Android phone to the Apple device: Blocking Numbers! Yes, it’s great!! If I don’t want to hear from a caller I can block the number right on the device rather than hoping I can do that at the account level with whomever I happen subscribe to for wireless service. In my case I have Verizon and while I can block numbers there I can only block 5 numbers at a time and the block only stays in place for 6 months. Why would I wish to use this… Read More

The Real Reasons I Got an iPhone

To be honest I was really fed up with the ridiculous update frequency of the Android platform and its growing lack of control over background processes killing the battery. So, I got an iPhone: Much longer periods between updates Smaller pool of free apps and a more stringent approval process for apps written for the device. It was a free upgrade whereas any one of the upgrades would have been $200 and some change. Simplicity of design and use: it’s a tool – for me at least. Wal-Martians

I’m sure by now everyone has seen the emails circulating around the internet; you know the ones… the messages that come with about 12 to 20 images of people shopping at their local Wal-mart. What gets me is how do some of these folks get past security to even get through the front door? I’m not convinced they should be allowed to run loose let alone be by themselves. These people scare me! Which is why, when my wife shops at Wal-mart I keep my behind in the car.
